Ellen trained at The Northern School Of Contemporary Dance graduating in 2008. In 2009 Ellen joined Ludus Dance where she toured with the Touring Team for 2 years.
Ellen has since been working as an independent artist collaborating with many regional contemporary dance companies and choreographers.
Over the last year Ellen has been exploring her own choreographic ideas, developing her newest solo work, ‘Car Door Moment’ for which she was awarded the Turn Prize for choreography in 2012. Car Door Moment has subsequently been programmed at Ausform, Livefest, Lustruum, Dance Cuts and Yorkshire Dance. She will be taking the work to Edinburgh this Summer.
Ellen is a skilled visual artist and filmmaker. She has been commissioned to produce work for Ludus Dance and has recently had her art work exhibited in the 2D gallery in Lancaster.
